Problem with my stock exhaust/muffler
hey guys, i just have a question as to what i should do about this.
any help would rule, just let me know what i should do cause im not too car savvy.
its just a stock 99 civic hatchback, im not looking to get any performance parts or anything like that, just, if needed, a solid replacement, so i dont have to deal with this again in the near future
it seems like the muffler is pretty firmly in place, it's just the tailpipe that is rusty/coming off/out. so i dunno.
again, any help or insight would be awesome, thanks!

Must be near the coast... or in the ocean!
What kind of civic do you have? If you got the money, get a cat back kit in case you're ever looking to beef up your car!

RE: Problem with my stock exhaust/muffler
just a stock 1999 hatchback ds. im not looking to drop a lot of money cause i just got a new radiator ($450), did some christmas shopping, and I will be getting my 2nd paycheck at my first real job, i just graduated this past spring. so i'm just having a ****ty time trying to manage everything that's falling into my lap. my check on friday should be about 850 or so, so maybe the weekend after xmas i could go get it done. would it be a bad idea to wait that long, like are there any terrible/serious issues i would have to worry about?

the only thing that is loose is whats pictured. I'm assuming what im holding in the first pic is the tailpipe. if so, it is still haning on by a thread, but with a little force, i could yank it right out.
