^^^+1 or get a muffler(name brand) and go custom
+1 CUSTOM FTW. Go custom and get yourself a great quality muffler. I have a volt muffler and it sounds great. Don't go cheapo on muffler

i've got custom and i love it, remember to get a nice big resonator (you guys know i'm gonna say Magnaflow haha) and a nice muffler, my ebay muffler definitely doesnt sound the best, it needs to go real soon. All my custom bending/piping was $168 installed

But if oyu dont wanna deal with custom, RSR ExMag sounds AWESOME and so does the Apexi WS2

^ thanks Fiasco, forgot to mention pricing too, Megan and Magnaflow are both pretty good on prices and both sound good as well. RSR is really expensive, and GReddy and Apexi are up there too

Yeah my custom piping/bending was $150 for 2.5 piping and my magnaflow resonator/muffler was $50 or $60 and my Volt muffler was $100. So i got a nice system with a very unique sound that no other civic can match unless they of course have my same custom job. So yeah go custom and don't get an "every sounding civic exhaust"

what i got is magen twin loop muffler which cost me 150$ and custon 2.25 piping and new resonator from cat converter to muffler, shop charged me 110 for piping + resonator

so i got a good frigging exhaust system for 260$ installed compared to like 500-600 ws2 or rsr

twin loop= same as rsr i belive without the rsr name, exact same concept except rsr did good job hiding the tubes

It's good to see that we have quite a few people on the site that know what they're doing and hold down this section. Also, i'm glad all these people are happy with their custom exhausts....oh and if you're going custom, RS*R has a clearance on a muffler right now i believe. You know i'll never pass up a chance to talk them up.
