quick lookover of my intake install
this is the first time i've ever done a performance mod, hell its the first time i have done anything too mechanical, so i was wondering if some of you seasoned pros could tell me if what i managed was ok.
im really paranoid and when i drive i think i hear a very light pss noise when i push the pedal, thinking it might be an air leak, i think it might be from the grommet to the sensor or maybe from the nipple from the engine, becuase it took a really long time to get the breather hose on there, i had to use grease. also i didnt have a clamp for it either =\
well please look it over and let me know if i managed to f' up this very simple install.
notice the breather hose, how it is not all the way on, and doesnt have a clamp =\ should i worry about that?

Looks fine. Get a hose clamp on that eventually but it's not going to hurt anything for now. You're just hearing the intake sucking in air because there's no more baffling like the factory airbox.

appreciate it, specially from a vet like you haha
should i just run to my local harware store and get any clamp? something i should look for? appreciate it.
that breater hose was m'f'er to install. spent 1 hour on it and even took a break. decided to use grease after an hour lmao. its really long as well =\

dito.... a aftermarket intakes gonna make more noise from the air geting sucked in... you should hear the system with the intake removed HUGE SUCKING sound with it running!
and ya just get that clamped down and IMO do your best to just rotate the clamps bolt adjuster part of the clamp to the back or bottom if you can... and if need be cut off the extra strap overlap.
just makes it look alittle cleaner instal.....

Is that a V2 without the lower section? My V2 filter resides inside the front bumper where the air is very cool. It looks like yours is missing the latter section that routes the filter down below.
