quieting down the beast
today was the worst day ever, personally. getting pulled over 3rd time this week. and other non-honda ****. anyways. is there anyway to quiet down my car? i have the stock cat with straight pipe to a megan racing muffler. i can't floor it to pass some asshole in miami without waking the dead. i love it and the way it sounds is beautiful. but it's not worth the miami heat up with the pigs. so would adding a resonator make it reasonably quiet so i don't have to remove anything. or what?

holy **** son... 3X in a week? maybe you should just save yourself the headache and just take it off. if your getting in THAT much trouble, i don't think it's worth it. if you REALLY wanna keep it though, get a silencer, and the longest resonator you can possibly find.

RE: quieting down the beast
i know man. i have a silencer, my muffler came with it. but then i know one day i'm going to take it off again, i want to make a move that's like. "okay i can't change it back" type thing.

Glass pack. Get an 18 inch one put behind your cat

where do i find a glass pack? how much is it? i still need to remove the muffler though right? or would the silencer actually work, cause now it just farts.

Go to any muffler shop. Mine cost me 60 bucks installed

RE: quieting down the beast
i just came back from the local muffler shop, they put a stock muffler on it, and took off the megan racing muffler. car is quiet and the only noise is from the engine when i floor it, sounds badass ;)

RE: quieting down the beast
you should probably change your siggy then ;)... I'd say get a twin-loop muffler sometime... they're pretty quiet and they still provide pretty good gains.
