Default recommendations?

Ok, so first off i just bought a used 2001 civic ex and i want to add horsepower!

Some ppl have already recommended me with an:
AEM V2 Intake
DC sports header
Magnaflow catback exhaust

im very close to buying and i wanted to know if anyone would recommend anything else!
I also do plan to do an engine swap in the future, but i dont know when!
any suggestions would be cool!

well i definately agree with the AEM V2. Depending on where you live, DC Sports Header might be a good idea. If I didnt have to worry about smog, I would get the Megan Racing Header. And for exhaust, magnaflow is fine, also look at Apexi, Megan, and Greddy

It will matter when you go for emissions. You'll fail for different things in different states.

since we both live in CA, let me tell you its one of the strictest places to pass emissions. Go with DC Sports header

Greddy cat-back exhaust is a really nice sounding has a deep tone not that ricer high pitch raspy stuff i have it on my 2000 Civic Si. everyone loves the sound of it just cause its not that ricey sound but i dont know if that will pass the emissions test i live in wisconsing so i dont really have 2 deal with that.
