this seems like a dumb question but how do you rev your car? seriously. do you put your car in neutral? do you push down the gas and the brakes at the same time? i have an auto

if you have an auto, just put it in nutral, and then rev it

Yeah just don't neutral drop...you'll mess up the tranny

why you ask anyways? what you wanting to do?

and dito definatly dont neutral drop the tranny when reven! might be cool to do it but everytime you do it it damages the tranny badly every time shortening its life DRASTICALY!!!!!

thiers realy no need to rev the motor!

When revving in neutral dont let it exceed 4k rpm.

No. The motor is not under load. Its like a universal rule dude.

dont see how that would hurt anything just reven it up.........
mines got a rev limiter on it anyways so it cannt rev realy high... think it cuts out around 6K rpms....

Its just not good. The engine isnt under load.
