Default RS-R Exhaust

I have seem to hear a lot of good things about these exhaust systems but have never heard from someone who actually owns one. Does anyone own an RS-R Exmag exhaust here and if so what do you think about it, is it worth the $600. I want something quiet but not silent.

damn $600, it must be good. But I highly doubt any one here owns one. I never even heard of RS-R.

Eh you can get them for closer to $500 but not less than that. I really like the Exmag, and I would definitely buy one if they weren't so damned expensive.

Yeah i can find them for around 540-550 everywhere i have read said they are very quiet. A good thing for me because i want something quiet but with a little rumble at higher rpms, however i dont want something that is almost as restrictive as a stock exhaust i have a b16 to drop in but dont plan on modding it very heavily. I also have been reading up on the Tanabe Medallion Hyper for 440 so i am torn as of right now any insight?

those are ceramic coated arent they? that'll keep the heat in and the exhaust velocity up. sweet. i dont know of anyone with personal experience, but from what ive read about them they get the job done well.

I really like the stealth look that they have, yeah. All black except for the tip. The whole system is stainless steel, though. My only concern with getting one would be they piping is 2 and 3/8" and I don't know if that's enough for a boosted car. Certainly not enough for one boosting more than 6 psi. And even for 6 psi I can't get a straight answer from anyone. Most people say 2.5" for 6 psi. Regardless, it should be plenty for an N/A car.

2.5 is good with a turbo, dont worry.

yeah as soon as i saw them i really fell for how they looked i got over the whole flashy look at me bit with my first civic because it grabs a lot of negative attention as well but i think that down the road the rs-r will hook up and ill make sure to let every one know how it turns out. Thanks for the input.

I had one of the RS-R Exmag on a 5th gen with a Z6 but I deleted it. I found it in another forum, I forget which one. Probably Honda Tech or honda-acura
