Default Skunk2 Intake Manifold

just wondering if any of you guys are running this on your rides...what kind of difference does this make to your ride? is it worth the money to spend on this item? what do you think?

I have it on my civic along with the 68mm throttle body and it makes a great difference in power and is the next step after i/h/e

i think paul (ej1rider) might have one, if i'm not mistaken.

he had all sorts of idel problems with his but that was due to an error during installation and nothing to do with the product itself.

yeah i think I read that in a thread someonehere when i researched it...i'm justcurious if youneed to get a bigger throttle body as well if you purchase the intake manifold...it seems like it would make sense...i don't know if it's worth it or not though because i stilldon't know enough aboutboththe IM and TB.

Lmao I think marty helped him install it too. hmm,marty seems to have lots of problems with intake manifolds. [8D]

im running it with BBK 62mm TB. No idle problems, great mid and top gain

i have a s2 with a stock tb. I got a s2 but it was machined incorrectly and i didnt want to chance my refund money on another one, so i used a used gsr tb. Worked fine.

how good is the BBK brand name? As i've said the whole TB MI thing is new to me...what are the top brand names in these categories?

yeah you do sacrifice some low end for better mid and top.

Grab a used B-series or H22 TB. Will work just as well and save you some cash.

The Skunk 2IM looks similar to Edelbrocks, so they may show good gains since both companies came up with similar results. Dunno which is better but some people have installation problems with the Skunk 2.
