I Own a 00 Civic Si. I'm looking in getting a Skunk2 Intake Manifold. I live In California and emission testing is really strict. I just want to know if anybody knows if it's CARB approved.
Any info in Performance wise is reallt appreciated.

i have a skunk2 intake manifold that is port matched to a skunk2 70mm throttle body on my lsvtec motor in my 89 civic si. i never had the motor running with the stock manifold on it, so i cant compare it to anything. but i had a 2000 civic ex d16y8 with a skunk2 intake manifold and a 62mm bbk throttle body that i put on, and that made a nice improvement over the stock pieces. vtec hit harder also. i think on the box for the manifold it says "pending carb approval".

You can also look into the Edelbrock Performer X. From what i've heard, it's a better manifold. After all, that is Edelbrock's specialty. I believe they are CARB approved. Just check the website.
