well I dont understand like the difference between a catback system and the catalytic converter + muffler stuff. like whats the difference between all that?

if i just got the muffler would it be much different than the catback system?

and how does the catalytic converter work for my car?

A Catback is an exhaust system that starts at your catalytic converter and goes all the way back. A Muffler is what is at the end of the catback. You won't really see any gains with a muffler but with afull catback you will. Your Catalytic converter is there for emissions. Take it off and theres a good chance you want pass emissions depending on which state you live in.
