Default SRIs whoop up on CAIs

Check out this article. The dyno results are given in numbers instead of graphs but, results are results.

Note: the Weapon-R "Dragon" is tested, not the Secret Weapon.

Yet Another Intake Dyno Test

the difference in peak total was 1hp more on the top SRI...for those too lazy to read up themselves.

NOTE: the highest on the CAI WAS NOT the AEM, the higest on the SRI WAS NOT the weapon R. maybe we've been looking about this wrong. but i still stand for the cold air. sorry :P

I am only here to present information and offer opinions, not to make up people's minds for them.

Unless you need me to make up your mind for you on stickers. I can do that.

different motors respond differently to different intakes... You will notice that some cars dont have a short ram or a cold air. Thats because no performance gains were found for whatever type wasnt made. So to say that one is better than another in general is irrelevant.

I love this review!

that AEM V2 isn't looking so good anymore

The V1 doesn't look that different.

proof again that AEM is better at marketing than R&D

i dont think thats bad at all. how much do you guys expect to get from an intake? a solid 4-6 hp across the board is awesome on an NA motor.

I agree that a 4-6 gain is good for something that is essentially a passive modification.

I'm just saying that the V2 isn't significantly better than their own V1 or many others that ARE significantly less expensive.

In fact compare it to the Weapon R SRI above 6000 rpm

IMO the V2 looks a lot better than the original (i dont think its called the V1) because all the original has is a spike down low and a gain up top. the V2 is a good solid gain all through the powerband

any noobs out there wondering, you can trust me in that the 50-100 dollar difference in price between this intake or that intake, is a drop in the bucket in a couple of years worth of modding. just get the best one you can afford right now, and be happy.
