Well guys the only way I'm going to find out is to ask. I finally got ahold of the guy I bought my car from because I never really got alot of details on the motor. He said the head is out of a 95 civic SI 1.6 and the block is a acura integra LS 90-93. Ok my question to you is when I buy my header do i buy it for the civic or the integra? (understand what im asking). he also said all the inards are ready for turbo and can handle alot of boost so im pretty stoked about that (that is whenever i actually go turb) Just wondering, thanks guys

AHHH.... you may want to call him back and ask what he is on... cause you cannot fit a 95 Si head on a 90-93 integra block...

95 Si = D Series

90-93 integra = B series

 

Im pretty sure that combo is not possible. The bottom end would be a b18, and the top would be a SOHC D16....maybe a B16 head? You gotta be more specific.

K thanks for the input guys, i'll try emailing him about. If you had to assume would it be b16 head with b18 block. I might just order my headers for a b16 because im really wanting to order them friday

Check the engine stamp, then you will have a better idea of what is in it

 

Yea, that will tell you what the block is, then we can point you in the right direction

 

the block says B18A1 so he was right about that

 

cant you just look at the stamp on the head?
