Default is there some way to tell which version AEM CAI system I have?

My AEM CAI was already installed when I bought the car. I don't want to know which version it is so I can know if I can add a bypass valve or not, cuz after one of last posts, I decided it's probably a better idea not to, since it can impede the air flow which I did not know. I'm just curious to know. And I'll probably be needing a new filter soon since I don't know how long the guy I bought the civic from had this filter that's on it right now. He won't return any of my calls about questions about the car which is stupid cuz he told me to feel free to call him with any questions I had. So, I stopped calling him like in June. I got the car in April. Btw, can I fit a K&N filter onto the intake or does it have to be the AEM brand? Thanks.

Take a pic and post it, you'll have an answer to seconds after you do so.

Edit: You can put any filter you want on there, just get the proper diameter filter.

Here's my pic of my AEM CAI. I hope this helps someone figure out which version it is like you said.

I don't know what you mean which version? It's probably the version that fits your car. So maybe something like this "AEM CAI for 92-95 civic ex"

Well, even on your signature, you wrote AEM V2. I heard so far there is only a version 1 and a version 2. That's what I mean by version.

Oh ok, well it's not a V2 I can tell you that...sorry, i didn't think of it as version one or version two. Yeah yours is a normal CAI.

there is no version one. the "v" in "v2" doesn't stand for version. it's the model name. the old one (before the v2 that is), is simple known as a aem cai, or aem sri

that's just the "regular" AEM cold air intake. if you want the silly bypass valve, the only thing you need to know is the diameter of the piping.

No, like I said, I don't want a bypass valve because of it impeding the air flow to the intake manifold.
