Default THROTTLE BODY/INTAKE MAN

Hi there, Ive got a 95 civ hatch packing a D16Z6 engine and I want to upgrade the throttle body and intake manifold when I come over to the States, Firstly, I was looking at getting an enlarged ported and polished polar bearing throttle body but Iam unsure cos it doesnt seem much bigger than stock,so whats the best size for my engine? And secondly Iam getting an intake manifold so should I go with a skunk2 cos ive heard the obx one aint that hot? thanks.

Stock TB some times due to mass production needs might not be completely smooth or allow max air flow/velocity so getting a ported and polished TB even though not visibly larger is still worth it. Getting too big of a TB could mess with volumetric efficiency. Use the search to look around the forum for more info on this.

hey man if you are in need of the intake mani and TB let me know i am having a hudge sale on the skunk2 pro-series mani and the skunk2 68mm TB i can do both for $485.00 shipped to anywhere in the U.S let me know if you are interested and i am having sales on all skunk2 products tell the end of the month let me know if you need anything.
First off, that's not a bad deal^
If you're considering a intake manifold swap, do get the Skunk2. As far as the TB goes, 62mm is fine with N/A, and a 68mm forced induction. However I do have a 68mm on my N/A, and it works just fine. You may have to portmatch the TB to the intake mani for better throttle response.

you could prolly get more power if you put a 62 on it.
