throttle body question

A 68 would not fit, boring it will not work. you'd ruin the IM if you tried to bore it to 68.
Ok, hold on now people, lets first try to talk to some one that has acutally done this. Yes, a 68mm TB will fit the skunk mani, BUT, you will have to portmatch it. Just put the TB against the mani, take a marker and draw the circle along the diameter of the TB, then take a dremel and bore it out to the marked line. I have done this and everything works perfectly. The throttle response is good, and I noticed a good difference one all said and done.

I'm sure he could just get a 66 and it wouldn't make enough of a difference to make it worth getting a 68... am i right?

How much cheaper is the 66? Also, who makes a 66 mm? I know of 62mm and 68, but havent seen any 66's. Either way, you'd have to portmatch the 66 just like the 68 for the full benefit.

Ok smarty^. When I got my manifold, I got a holley 68mm TB and never looked in to skunk. I dont know how that can strike as funny, but hey, my sense of humor is in the gutter eh?
