1hp max on a stock motor. they have the same basic concept of spinning the air into the manifold and i think they increce the volume of the IM so to get more air into the manifold...but its too short and just too small overall to work practically

if you have a big bore TB or an aftermarket TB its a good addition.

and its something you'd add when you're trying to get your 10.01 second car to 9.98. its only one of those things you really should have if you're trying to get every last hoof of power (lets see how long it takes for someone to get that) out of your car

LOL. I have this friend who thinks that the smallest things will give him massive hp. He's got a stock motor and was tellin me that his plugs ( which were'nt even high performance plugs) were gonna give him 6 lbs of torque. He came up to me the other day and I quote: " Hey Tyler, I found out two products that will give me a major hp boost. A TB spacer and the Venom 400 chip." All my other friends behind him just started laughing. Its really hard to be his friend sometimes, but I don't wana tell em the truth.

even performance plugs shouldnt give him power... mabie give him back power that he lost from fouled plugs.

Sounds like your friend has a case of "ricenaphous". A typical ricer disease that makes an individual think that he will gain hp from something that is not designed to give you hp. In some cases one would think an AEM or DC Sports sticker will add up to 5+ hp. However, thankfully, this disease is curable. So dont be afraid to tell him the truth, and do lecture him. You have the responsability to nurse your friend back to health before the Rice takes over his entire body.
