My friend has one, has an intake and a muffler exhaust, and I still beat him, so it doesn't work, it probably hinders him from beating me. So another no from me, Tornado or Turbonator w/e you wanna call it, fails.

all cold air intakes suck and dont give you any hp and most of the time make you slower, I dont get y people buy them.

You think honda or any other company would spend thousands of dollars testing there cars and tuning them for you to be able to put 100-200 dollar piece and get 10-15 hp??? No, its all a scam

Um, croninc, they make you slower?? How?
I dont think anyone said that they were getting gains of 10-15 horsepower with the addition of a cold air intake.

By the way, honda tunes their cars (except for the si) to the most economical tuning settings, not max horsepower. If you want one that was tuned for that reason, consider an si.

Bought one...

I bought one for my CRV about 4-5 years back & left it in for about two weeks (road trip) didn't help the gas mileage & I couldn't tell a difference on power. I returned it & got moooola back!! count me as a NO !!
