im going to the exhaust shop in an hour w/ my dad and just need to know something. i really wanna go side exit exhaust. now w/ the stock resonator and stock cat, but no exhaust how will it sound?

 

prolly to late but...im not 100% sure but my guess is it would sound like crap..

 

too late. sounds like im hitting vtec when the rpms increase. other than that several of my friends like the sound. for the side exit part, i can forsee it getting annoying after awhile but but w/ the passenger side window up it sounds like its mounted all the way in the back.

P.S. for performance, its great i kno i gained some numbers fo show! and acceleration is ALOT better

it sounds good, we had a cavy that had this when it came into the shop, he had a hole cut in his side skirt were the exhust came out

im pretty sure ill pass immissions cause all they look for is the cat, the rest is just sound deadening stuff rite?

 

hey i saw ur car, the side exhaust looks good and it sounds good too

 

idk if u heard it being punched when u saw it on the road but well meet up during the week and u can hear it. its 2.25" piping

ummm...that exhaust is right under the jacking point, ain't it?

 

lol i was wondering who would notice that. actually when the guy was installing it i made sure it was offset just enought to fit a jack on the jacking point
