I have a 2000 integra LS and am going to get a catback exhaust. What brands out there give you a deep sound? I absolutely do not want one of those exhausts that you hear and is just annoying and makes like a crackling sound (hard to explain). What about DC or Skunk2 or Greddy?

 

greddy evo2 is pretty damn deep. get that-you'll be happy.

 

yea I have that and DC 4-2-1 header in my shopping cart right now, brand new, 855 shipped.... gona sleep on this one.

 

that's kinda expensive... look around first. how much did you find the dc header for? if you don't live in california, consider getting megan racing. they're cheaper, they offer the same performance, but the only difference, is there's no CARB exemption plate on it.

 

^ +1 for megan, only complaint i've ever heard is that the secondary o2 sensor's postion rubber on some kind of boot, other than that if you're not looking pass emissions, Megan is good, and i've never heard anything bad about GReddy catbacks. YouTube them if you want some sound clips

 

+1 on the youtube idea. just go on youtube and just watch the different exhaust videos tht they have there tons of them. and than u decided which one u like.

 

i have a magnaflow exhaust and it sounds great, deep as hell.

btw, i have a megan header and pass emissions

 

I have heard the GReddy exhausts on youtube and they don't do justice to how they actually sound in real life, just a thought for if you're checking clips out on youtube.

 

If you want a little noise with good sound, either hks or RS*R cat backs are the shiznit. For that matter, any big name exhaust will sound good. I have the RS*R gtII and it sounds amazing, and its got a good bite to it. Also, I can barely hear it when I'm cruising, even with the silencer out

 

on my rex, 4-2-1 header, stock holled out exhaust and carbon fiber big muffler tips angled out tha back, its so loud n deep my friends can hear me 3-5 miles before I even arrive.
