Yup, mine makes my exhaust sound stock for long trips. I dont mind the sound of mine at highway speed, but my stock ass stereo sucks so in order to hear that well with the windows down, its best to have the silencer in

they restict the exhaust a lot. depends on how much sound your muffler makes too. because i didn't have a cat coverter... mine just made a weird farting noise with the silencer. but i got a cat converter, it's not bad, just not as much power, i could feel it.
