guys what is a point of a silencer for the muffler just to quiet it done?

 

Yup, mine makes my exhaust sound stock for long trips. I dont mind the sound of mine at highway speed, but my stock *** stereo sucks so in order to hear that well with the windows down, its best to have the silencer in

 

they restict the exhaust a lot. depends on how much sound your muffler makes too. because i didn't have a cat coverter... mine just made a weird farting noise with the silencer. but i got a cat converter, it's not bad, just not as much power, i could feel it.
