Default What would you suggest????

What would you suggest for a 1984 Crx 1.3 Exhaust wise. I'm not looking for huge power gains, but would like the exhaust to have a nice tone. I also don't want one of those stupid looking, and sounding monster mufflers sticking out of the back of my ride.

Get the intake first because it will make your car sound like it got a muffler.

More than likely just cat back. I was checking it out, and with the catalytic converter conecting directly to the exhaust manifold. Would I be able to run just a straight pipe, coming off of the converter, or would the lack of back pressure affect it too bad??????

the ride looks real nice with the new paint. you need to lower it now, you can adjust the front torsion bars to lower it down in the front, and get lowering springs for the rear for pretty cheap. but the exhaust, i say like 2' exhaust would be fine with a resonator and a nice looking meffler

by looking at this car it must have been put in atime capsule and pulled out 22 years later. once cars get over 10 years old they get harder to matain. you didn't buy from some granny that had in the garage forever. or did you have to do a lot of restoration.

I bought it from the origanal owner. YES, it was an older german couple. The husband bought it for his wife in Colorado, it was garage kept since new, and when I bought it, she gave me stack 3 inches thick of ALL the service ever done to the car. When it was new she put seat covers on the seats, because she didn't want them to get dirty. When I took the covers off, I was amazed at the condtion of the seats, and they were two tone at that. It needed very little to get it were it is now. I bought it for $1200. with 148,000 miles. She thought I be REALLY impressed with the JVC tape deck she had installed after market........ The real surprise was when I opened the glove box to find the bill of sale, and the owners manual. I don't really want to modify it much more, because it is in such good shape. I just would like a little more get up and go!!!!!!
