Default whats the difference..

what is the difference between cold air intakes and short ram intakes? and whats a lip for a car?

lol if u take the time to post in the i/h/e forum, take the extra 2 seconds before postingto look at the "Intake FAQ" thread thats right above.. not trying to be a dick but common...

a car's lip is a decorative piece of ABS, uthrene, or fiberglass that attaches to your bumper(s).

Some serve a true purpose (for example, the Mugen lip which directs airflow to the brakes to help cool them), but many are just for show.

And a cold-air intake pulls air from outside the engine bay (it pulls it from inside the front bumper/wheel well-ish area) wheras a short-ram pulls air from the engine bay. For all intents and purposes, though, they're exactly the same performance-wise (maybe a 1hp difference). Read the Intake FAQ for more details... I really don't feel like typing for 5 minutes to answer one question today.
