welcome to the forums!

Could you be a little more specific with where we buy our parts from? Like, what kind of parts are we talking? And with a muffler, do you want just a muffler or a full cat-back? I havea DNX muffler on my car and I love it... I'll see if I can't dig up a video clip of the exhaust.

EDIT: here's my exhaust clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqNJekSmdxUand that's on more or less stock tubing (custom bent axle-back... it'll be a full cat-back after I get my lip kit... no point in having the muffler re-hung if it's just going to get moved, right?)

I got my Megan catback from boneheadperformance.com and i am really happy with it. It has a nice deep sound to it and it comes with a silencer that you can put on it if you think its too loud.

If you're looking for quality parts, the best bet is to shop around the civic parts websites to see what each will run you for the parts plus the shipping. I've got a decent MagnaFlow can sitting around, which I'm going to eventually have installed as an axle back that can be swappable for my stock muffler. It will be quiet but helpful to my performance...

Quality names in exhaust depend on what kind of a sound you're looking for (buzzy, throaty, understated yet powerful, or stock). Personally, I like to draw as little attention to my car as is possible. Observe the opposite:

To avoid the above scenario, choose quality parts (RSR Ex Mag, WS2, magnaflow, etc.) and have the work done properly. Rarely should an N/A Civic ever need more than 2.5 inch pipe on it. Use a resonater and a decent cat whenever it's possible. Good luck.
