i posted once before asking if just a ractive mt635 muffler would slip on to a 1999 honda civic ex....i would be weldin it on.....would it work or is there another muffler i can put on that sounds nice and deep like that one that would fit and weld on with no mods

 

Hmm... Im not sure. But I wouldnt just slap on a muffler. You might as well go for a full exhaust. You will not experience any power gains if you did just the muffler. Also, for a $50 muffler, im not sure if it would sound good at all.

 

I don't exactly get what you're trying to ask. Any muffler will work, if you cut off the old one and weld on the new one. Ractive is crap, though.

 

my friend has a 95 eclipse with a ractive welded on...it sounds awesome to me....any suggestions on exhaust...i like how the apexi n1 sounds if that gives any ideas....any suggestions will help

i'm gonna have to agree on ractive being crap. get a quality exhaust and you might actually see some slight horsepower gains (as well as a throatier exhuaust note).

just because it's cheap don't mean you gotta have it.

 

I have the apexi n1 catback and i'm quite happy with it. It's a little loud but not extremely loud and sounds awesome to me.
