i have a 98 civic ex coupe and i saw an ad for a thermalr and d cat back for a ek lx. would the exhaust system fit? the guy said it would. also are they any good? are they loud.

thermal exhaust systems are available for civics. However, a lot of them are run on boosted civics and have 3" piping. If youre on a naturally aspirated setup, 3" is overkkill and youll regret it. They are good from what i hear, hence the reason many people run them. Go to youtube and search

after lookin on the site, they do make setups for the n/a civic but i wouuldnt go over 2.5" piping, so check

no, the EX one will be a cats-length shorter than the LX one. You could get a test pipe from ebay for like $30, bolt it in there and be fine.

nvm i just picked it up and he said he bought it for a ex/si it looks like itl fit. cant wait to install it!!! i wana do it right now but its 10 at night!!

it was 210 new!! am i gonna have trouble taking the old bolts off? also theres a metal gasket that comes with it where do i put that? thermal r&d st. my first exhaust system ive ever purchased!!!

i feel like a total moron. i take the old exhaust out and the cat back i bought was a 3 in and my cat is 2 in. is there an adapter i could buy that will make this fit?the flangeswont fit together.should i even bother trying to make it fit? im so angry and frustrated. i work on the car for 11 hours and this is what i get? somone please help me out!!!!!
