Correct, there is an AEM V2 though for the LX/DX (part # 24-6102). As far as the header, on the LX/DX the cat is connected to the header (unlike the EX). If you replace your header, will no longer have a cat. You can put one on if you convert to an EX exhaust. Good Luck!!!

I have been looking for a header for the past two months and nothing. The closest I get is for off road use and some company called Kamikaze Headers. Don't trust the brand so I am waiting for DC Sports or another reliable company to come out with one. I know Megan Racing is developing one right now and it should come out in the 5 - 6 months.

Actually, Kamikaze makes a very good header, they just aren't as big of a company as someone like DC. I would definitely recommend a Kamikaze header.

Thanks dude. but the ones Kamikaze sell are for off road use. Would that be a problem here in NY?

Yes, it would be. The reason they say off-road is because that particular header will remove your cat. You do have the option of (because I'm assuming you have a LX/DX) to switch to an EX exhaust and then you would be fine.

Yeah, you're right. I think I'm going to wait though. I'm leaning toward Megan Racing for the header. They are making one for the LX so I don't have to modify anything. We'll see. Thanks for the info.
