well, everything was so tiny, and I wasn't being the most careful person because I didn't think it would work either. I dropped it, scratched the circut board, almost smashed the lcd screen. I had to pull on a lot of things really hard to get access to everything so something could have snapped off. And the whole time I was working on it, the board behind the faceplate was connected to the body by a thick wire that could have snapped off and have ruined my party. but it didn't.

the only problem with these radios is they dont read re-rw cds

yeah, I listen more to the radio than a cd anyways.

DCAcivic is right.... although I did notice when I had mine that it doesnt have problems reading "Verbatim" brand cd-r's

yeah, If you want a real nice system, then you do not want stock. I haven't had any problems yet with cd-r's and I think the stock system I have is fine for me and looks the best in that DIN slot. Of course I own like 4 cd's. Maybe I'll put a receiver right in behind the cup holders like I've seen in other civics.

All i have to say is wow.[sm=smiley32.gif] im not a big show person but i used to be and if i had a stock radio i could have probly figured that one out on my own, but it looks great. its amazing that it matches. again, awesome job. also, where did you find the bulbs to change the color of the dash and cluster

bought clear bulbs from autozone. I used a red sharpie on all the bulbs, that's why the even color.
