Why on earth would you badge your car as something it's not...?

 

A guy that goes to school with me drives a 95 Accord and has put DOHC stickers on it, an SI badge on the back, and is lookin into buying a Type-r badge for the front grill.....it makes me so sad

 

I'm pretty sure that says VTEC SOHC.

I have a d16y8 VTEC SOHC....

Excuse me, circlethesky187? I was taling about in general. Read the whole thread and you might understand.

 

I think false badging is halarious....Some people do it as a joke to make fun of ricers even though they in turn get called ricers.

For example..my friend steven and I just bought this girl we know a Turbo badge, a 4x4 badge and these obnoxious hood scoop things from auto zone and put them on her cabrio for her birthday. it looks so bad but its halarious seeing the 4x4 turbo cabrio drive by every day with giant hood scoops.

 

i saw a toyota carola with a lexus badge on the front hood...but it gets better because on the grille it still had the toyota badge

 

I'm doing the opposite and debadging my car. I've only gotten rid of the EX badge so far, but the civic one is coming off thursday.

 

hmm i say just keep the original. I mean if you had a real type-r car than it would make sense to change it, but if you had a real type-r then it would have automatically came with appropriate badges :-P

 

They look so much better debadged...especially since mines a dx it looks less cheap lol
