'00 civic foglights
Hey guys,
I am looking to get a set of foglights for my 2000 EX coupe. I called the dealer to see how much they got for them and they said $269 plus tax plus 2.5 hrs labor. I can't really afford that so I've been looking around here and other sites for DIY instructions (which I found and I'm pretty sure I can do it) and it seems that the general consensus is that genuine Honda parts are the best, which I tend to agree with because I don't want to put cheap stuff that isn't good quality in my car. I found a site www.passwordjdm.com that has what looks like close to similar quality but I cannot be sure. What do you guys think?

I was also wondering wether you guys liked the clear white look better or the yellow. My car is dark green and I am trying to figure out what color will work best with the color of my car. Also my previous car was a Subaru Outback and the foglights on it were white, I liked the way they lit up the road and I want to make sure that the yellows will do the same if I was to go that route. Anyone who has the yellows please let me know what you think.
Thanks a lot in advance for all your help and have a good holiday.

If you dont want to buy off e-bay I would go with passwordJDM, there not OEM but "OEM fit and quality" and there a pretty good company from what I hear. Also there areaa few good DIY write ups on the net for installing them.
Im not sure what color I would go for, I like the yellow, but the clear looks nice also.

bought mine off www.robearracing.com sent me the depo brand ones which are supposed to be just like oem ones...i bought the yellow ones because i love them. they seem to be very durrable, the lense seems to be made out of glass or something pretty strong. not sure havent had much time to look at them. im out of town and they are at home. but they sent me a switch and everything to wire them up even instructions. but if someone could help me out too i would love to have a diy thread on how to install them on the 96 just to have on top of the instructions they sent me. hope this helps. they had them shipped to my house in a little over a week. not sure where you live but i live in east tn so it took a little longer. they have good prices too!! very cheap shiping hope this helps you out!!
Thanks for all the input guys, I really appreciate it. I actually just found a seller on ebay that sells genuine Honda ones (the pictures he has shows them in the Honda packaging) for less than the passwordjdm ones, so I bought them. He didn't have any yellow ones, so I got the clear ones. I found a link that gives the directions straight from Honda so that should make the install that much easier. Thanks again for all the help, I really appreciate it. Since I am on winter break from college, I will have plenty of time to install them (as long as we dont get snow so I can use my driveway... not that we've had any here in Millbrook, NY haha). When I finish it up, I'll post some pics to show how it came out. Have a good holiday guys!

Actually it was a different seller than the one you posted. (His ID is POKOM and his ebay store sells a lot of Honda parts.) I went on ebay the next morning after I posted here to see if there were any more and I found that he was selling them again, I guess the time ran out on the first ones so he re listed them. So I purchased them from him before someone else bought them, then I logged in here and saw that you posted those. His shipping was a little more expensive than the ones you posted but oh well lol. I really appreciate you posting them though. Good luck with your rebuild and like I said before, I'll post some pics when I finish the install. Thanks again everyone.

he is always selling them! thats who im gonna buy mine from... as well as my SI grill eventualy and my rebuild stuff....
