i've got these lights and im trynna install em and am a total newbie, any help is much appreciated ppl.wat bulbs can/should i use wit em(h4/9006/xenon possibly???)can a hid kit be hooked up to these without melting da housing n how(like wat would i still need)??

 

Well first things first, you need to find out what bulb it takes.

And for the HID thing, it depends on the brand of headlightsyou buy, I never actually heard of a HID melting a headlight since it is less heat then a reguler bulb. But alotaftermarket projectors dont recommend them because (from what I hear) the way it shoots the light out.

 

100 bucks says they are h1 because I have chrome ones similar to them... I reccommed not plugging the halos in... the headlights look like an ebay special and they will NOT make a full halo, that is the truth. I heard about HIDs melting the housing, and I laugh at them... you're more likely to melt them with Silverstar bulbs because OEM bulbs are hotter. I have an HID kit in 6k in my halo projectors and they are great... just search around and you will find pictures of my HID output...

 

thanx for da responses n yea they're h1 n i jus got my oem fogsn wanna go wit da 6k hid'sso wait to putem all in @ sametime to get full effect lol is it legal to have turn sigs other than yellow and wat do u guys think about turn sig mirrors n m3 fenders?

 

i had these headlights, honestly dont put HIDs in them.... ur better off with +50 H1 bulbs (find them on ebay)... and for the fogs def. put HIDs cause i have HIDs in my headlights and fogs. looks soooooooo nice... heres a pic to show u

u could find em on ebay but i got mine from custom street design.com n they shipped real quick...i think ima jus put hid's neway n see wat happens
p.s. - i also ordereddat oem blk mesh grill n im waitin 4 dat, i'll put pics up when everything is in cuz weather rite now sucks n im busy as hell...oh n wat do u guys think of m3 turn sig mirrors wit blue led n painted to match eternal blue body??? is it a go or no?

 

personally i like how the m3's look, but dont care too much for the led's on them. Either way is better than stock tho, imo.
