I JUST BOUGHT CIVIC TYPE R SEATS FOR MY 92' EG HATCH ( I HEARD THEY GO STRAIGHT IN) IS THIS TRUE OR NOT? COZ I JUS BOUGHT SUM OFF EBAY (ALSO BOUGHT REAR SEATS AND FRONT DOOR CARDS, ALL FOR 200 QWID) OR DO I HAVE TO GET DIFFERENT SUB-FRAMES?

I WILL BE PUTTING THE FRONT DOOR CARDS AND REAR SEATS BACK ON EBAY AS I DONT NEED THEM (UNLESS DOOR CARDS FIT, WHICH I DOUBT THEY DO).

Pretty sure you'll need to re do the brackets... there is a thread that is very recent on this topic so look for it...

 

anything is possible with a little elbow grease and lots of money. lol.

 

To make the seats fit OE style you will have to swap the seat pans, you basically have to dissassemble the seat and swap the metal seat bottom that has the sliders and tilt mechanizum attached to it.

I'm not sure the seats or door panels will fit but best of luck on those.

 

no got to jdmcarboy.com or streetstyler.com and find their seat bracket to mount those seat there like $100 or something like that, they bolt right in
