I am looking at some 16 inch rims for my car and just wondering if they will look too small on my 2000 civic or what?
Also if you put bigger rims on than your stock ones will you lose gas mileage i just heard that from somewhere and i dont think its true but i was just wondering but yah here are the rims i am looking at and he said the lowest he will go for me since i am a civic guy is 150 bucks.

no 16 is a good size, from that add i would get new tires before u install, and to answer you question about the gas mileage yes you lose mpg if you have bigger surface area on the tires, but dont worry about that lol not even big deal, infact you wont even notice
yah i figured 16 would be a great size for my civic but ya i would get new tires but yah i probably wonnt even notice a difference why does it lose mpg is it because it is pushing more weight and that guy can probably drop the price to 130 dollars i think that is a heck of a deal dont you think so?
ii guese i dont know much about that brand, more surface area on the aftermarket tires = worse mpg. but you will also want to look at some lower springs i would go with the tein springs, but if you want to spend some money do a full coilover kit
You should ask him how much they weigh, that will be the biggest factor for mpg. Usually aftermarket rims are lighter (unless chrome). Cheaper aftermarket rims tend to be more heavier.
yah but i wont notice too much of a difference on gas maybe 1 mile difference but yah i am going to pick them up and if i really dont want them i am sure i could sell them right back for 150 bucks they are nice looking wheels i think
yeah, I'd go for it. 16's will look fine, especially if your car is lowered or you lower it in the future. And $150 isn't a bad price at all.
*edit: with my stock wheels, I get ~30mpg, +/-2 mpg. Guess what I get with my 17's... 30mpg, +/-2.

yah accutally they are 200 45 16 i think that is right or 205 45 16 i dunno but one tire is really bad no one has a used one cause i guess they are rare but they had new ones 2 new tires for 160 bucks so 150 plus 160 is 310 and another 160 for another 2 new tires is liuke close to 500 i think but when i know i guy around here selling better looking rims and alot better conditon with brand spankin new tires of them for 350 so in the long run it will be cheaper to get the other rims and tires but yah 150 was a good deal but not if you are going to put all new tires on them when i can get rims for 350 with brand new tires on them so ya thanks alot
