Default 17's in the JDM scene?

hey....i've been debating for a while whether to go for the (i'd rather not call)"rice" scene or go for the more JDM scene. well i think i'm gonna go towards to JDM scene because i love cars that look clean but still have that something that makes you look twice. but i have on my car 17's, and was wondering are those too big for the JDM scene or do i need to go for 16's or 15's. my thing with 15's & 16's is that they look too small for the car. but that's just me....let me know.... thanks

17s are fine if thats what you like. dotn get so wrapped up in labels that you are doing stuff against your taste. look at the Rota 17 inch Slipstreams. thats pretty close to JDM, for a lot less money.

Mugen makes 17 inchers, but theyll cost around a thousand dollars, where as the Slipstreams that Sacs mentioned, will look EXACTLY the same (minus the Spoon logo), and cost about 400 dollars. Its your choice though. Personally, Id do it up ghetto, and buy the Rotas, and carfully paint yellow Spoon emblems on em, but thats just me.
