they will probably tell you this...but incase they dont, DONT roll down your windows for atleast 3 days, a couple more days after that wouldnt hurt eather..and park in the sun as much as you can so all the water marks will dry up, sometimes there will be little bubbles after a couple days..you just bring it back and they will push them out

..it looks like crap right after they do it because you can see all the water marks, but a couple days in the sun it will all go away, if not..pay them a visit

 

wel both times i took my civic in it took them forever to get done...... definatly if you can have a friend roll with ya to take ya where ya want and back to the tint shop later on that night....

 

I'm gettin mine tinted soon and the guys said they will do any % I want legal or not so what % is it that you can't see into it anymore and I am getting the front tinted too, whats the darkest I could go with that without having a problem seeing at night?

 

GODAMN!T!! wea r y'all at? here in MA i got quoted thre times 280$ for 35% on my sedan...thats hella to much for tint so im jus giving up.... jeesh ...... WHAT ID DO FOR A PROFESSIONAL 100$ TINT JOB!!!!!

 

man thats high i can almost get get three cars done for that. im getting mine 20% all the way around for $110. and he is a professional

 

I always do 5% on all my vehicles.. except for front.. (20% on front)
I get 'em done at a small auto shop in Phoenix... charges me $150 for the SUV's... and $125 for the truck

 

i've done tinting for more than 5 years... I used to work at a tint shop.. now I just do it for friends and shayt..
I have 5% all around my sedan... even a 5% eyebrow.. I did it myself.. and it's difficult to convince a tint shop to do it..
I've never been pulled over for it.. But i've been pulled over many times.. and arrested 3 times.. even by a texas state trooper.. and they've never said anything about my windows..
But If you can convince a tint shop to do it.. or if you can do it yourself (it's REALLY simple to be honest with you)
then I suggest 5% all around.. even on the front driver and passenger.. especially on the rear.. It's amazing how different driving is..
By the way... tint naturally fades with time.. with being in the sun.. so..
to answer the question of 20% or 35%... definately 20%..
in a few months.. it'll naturally fade a little.. and with the fading.. and getting used to driving with it.. You'll be happy with it over the 35%..
I've never understood lighter percentage tints.. =/ I suppose that's why I have the 5% ..
But then again.. I prefer the batman/mobster appeal.. =)

i might even have my back window retinted darker to 5% that 20% is decently dark... but id like alittle darker at times....

 

ive got my 06 civic in 15% all around they charged 160 after tax im happy with it..its been a month and i got a ticket for it 3 days after i got it done

if there is no light out side like if your driving through a neighborhood at night it is kinda difficult to see but i dont think 20% would be near as bad to see outside of

and addiction2bass..i think the black tint on silver looks good :-P

I think that either 20 or 35 will work out pretty good for you. I'm planning on doing some 35 at some point, I want to be able to see good at night.
