A buddy of mine found this at a yard sale for 2 bucks and wouldn't let me pay him for it.

Other than a 5 dollar tube of skylight caulk, the labor was freeeeeeeeee!!!!

It was dirty and had some cob-webs on it along with scratches in the trim, but that didn't bother me at all.



After the glass was cleaned.


Lots of measuring and adjusting


Then the cut


Test fit


Cut the headliner


Left extra fabric in case


Sanded and painted the trims


Installed with the caulk. Pretty smooth I think

Thats really not bad looking at all. I have to admit that's a pretty clean job and for 5 bucks, you cant go wrong.

Yes the whole thing comes out. It has a semi-mirrored tint on the outside of it already but yes, it needs tint. The light it lets in is still really bright.

 

wow you definitely didn't go wrong on that $5 sunroof haha, wish it i coulda snagged one.
