50 dollar paint job!
MccM this was a great find thanks for saving me 2950 bucks on a paint job lol. Is anyone else going to try this. It is awesome to see the look on all your friends faces when they look at the car and you tell them that you rolled it.

Do you mean the lines from the edge of the roller? If so you can see them for the first few coats but now i cant see them if you look at the pics from coats 1 and 2 they are fairly defined, but now i cant see any lines. And i wouldnt do this to my protege i just think that it was an awesome painting alternative for a 700 dollar civic.

ive got 4 coats on and wetsanded them i may only do one more coat depending on how it turns out. Its been raining and is supposed to continue through the weekend so i may postpone the project until the weekdays.
I plan on doing this as soon as I get out of school. Ill probably start mid june. The only thing is I have the suual nasty rust around the rear fenders and such and Ive never done body work before. I talked to a few people adn read up onit. I jsut know Ill have a tough time being patient. But for 50 bucks its definetly worth a try.
