yeah, it's from a ford taurus. Just grab one at a junk yard, they are all over! I don't know what year ford though. It's just a single DIN cup/coin holder.

Do you have to relocate the CD player? I would rather put the cup holders down lower where the Cd deck is. Or would they not fit?

Well, idk. I think if you aren't driving, sure. I think the shift **** would hit the cup holder if you had it there.

well what im trying to do is get some cupholders from my 99 modified to fit the dash of the EG and if i cannt do that then ill modify my arm rest hell its so small you really cannt put much in it from a EG arm rest.LOL so i think id just get afew cups from resturants front small, medium, and large... and do like a step up size inlay and fiberglass it in. tho it will only be one cup holder.

and well lets face it if ya get 2 cups youve probably got a passenger so make them hold there own drink. YOUR DRIVING your cup gets the cupholder.LOL [8D]

main thing i hate about my EG cup holder is the coin holder..... i put my cup in the cup holder and then i get my change... have to pull the cup out to put the change in the coin holder, close it and then put the cup back... ITS STUPID!
at least my EK has the coin holder on the far left side

just get an arm rest from a different civic.....when u open it there is a big cup holder in that.....either that or just drink cans of soda....they fit in the eg cupholders nicely.

Here's what I did in my 95 DX. I never did miss the stock cup holders, that's for sure. Maybe they're a good fit for a glass of sahki or something, but nothing I drink. I actually did this before I got my lower console, then re-did. I had to move them just a little. These things cost like .99 cents each. But it works, and looks clean. They are they ones that have the lip to hang onyour door. I cut the lip off, cleaned them up,and used two trim screws to hold them in place. This first time I did it I didn't predrill and cracked one. Oh well, at .99 cents who cares. They fit really great. The nice part is the way they are made, they clear the seat adjuster! My seats will slide copmpletely forward without hitting anything. (unless there's a drink in the holder!) I have angled them a bit so they slant back. Makes the drink easier to get in and out. You can supersize it and not worry about finishing your drink before it's time to ride.

Five pictures on photobucket...
