Default 94 to 96

ok i'm new to the honda world this Fri. i'm about to get a 94 2dr civic, but what I wanted to know is that I like the headlights from the 96 how hard would it be to convert it or would it be a direct swap as in buying fenders, hood, and bumper

well the I have a 94 sedan and the first thing you do to convert to a 96 front bumper , headlight and hood is to unscrew all the screw and nuts and bolts in the front portion of your car.

then you label the screw, nuts and bolts on where you got it from or uncrewed from. then you slowly take all the exterior thingys out and you put the 96 exterior you might want to wear gloves on doing this project.

Ahh give yourself a pat in the back because you just convert your 94 to a 96
ps dont forget the screw nuts and bolts

I hope this help i dont know much but this is close enough, Im not a mechanic but I slept in holiday inn

Don't hold me to it but what I have heard it that the fenders are longer than what they are on the 93-95 models. I think the 96 fenders have to have a section cut out and then welded back together to shorten them. But i'm not positive about that. If I were goin' to spend the time to change it to a 96-98 front end I would just go ahead and do the 99-00 swap. It looks much better imo.

Getting a 96 and up fender to fit on anything older is a pain. Is the deal on the 94 final? If not, you might want to look into a 96 or up.
