Hello everybody Ive got 95 civic
I want to redo all my interior by fiberglassing.
But the only thing is fiberglassing takes forever to do alot of work and money.
I was wondering if anyone knew if this would work.
Ive got 3interior pieces that is vinylone is the dash and the other 2 is the door panels.
The other interior pieces are the textured hard plastic.
Instead of me fiberglassing the interior I was wondering if I could scuff up myvinyldash and door panels and then spray themwithaflexiable filler primer, and then sand themsmooth ( this would make it look like it is fiberglass)make sure all the texture is out of thevinyl panels by using the primer and thenpaint it with light coats then clear it. Then the vinyl door panels and dash is finally done and then I would do the same thing with the texture hard plastic. Will this work anyone know if this would? Or would it flake off orchip? Has anyone ever donethis or ever seen it done? Ordoes anybody got a better idea that I dont know? Let me know please thanks

 

Best way to see is go to the junk yard buy a door panel and try it.
