Hey,

Anyone know of any aftermarket companies that make taillights for a '99 four-door? I have seached on this site and all of the posts about taillights have been about ones that only fit 2 door models. The taillights on the sedans are much larger than the coupes. Also, anyone have a '99 sedan? If so, can you point me toward some taillights that would work on my car? Also, I've heard that aftermarket lights have a tendency to leak. How can I prevent this?

to seal them up, you can always use silicone caulk, i had some APC tailights and they leaked REALLY bad

in general most aftermarket taillights get hated on and categorized as "Ricey" stock taillights, either the red/white or any stock ones tinted like this (thanks addiction)



are what alot of people go with to keep hte look of their car clean. Althoguh some aftemrakret ones like this:

Those Red/Clear ones you posted in the 2nd picture don't fit a sedan though right?

 

naw they are just for 2 doors, i was just using them as an example, but just look around ebay, i'm sure you could find something that will fit

Those won't fit because those are for 96-98 civic 4drs.

Wow, I was always under the impression that all 4 door tail lights were the same.

Yeah, one of my buddies got red/clear tails for his 4 door, they looks excellent. I think those last ones that thatfooalex suggested are the best out there for 4 doors. (The reverse red and clear)
