Default 99 Front end conversion?

So im thinking of doing the 99-00 front end conv. on my hatch bcuz i like the fog lights and the way the bumper and headlights are shaped. So my question is should i do the conversion?

If i dont do the conversion i will still need to get a new front bumper cuz it was beat up from the past owner.
Im also thinking about doing the 96-98 SIR bumpers too..

So if you could let me kno which way i should do my front end, please...

im up for any opinion as i just need a new front end cuz the one i have now doesnt fit right anyways....

you will need a new bumper, grille, headlights, fenders and a new hood for the 99-00 civics. they are all different from the 96-98 and they can not be mixed together. you will also have to slightly modify the bumber mount on the vehicle that are on either side of the grille

this guy goes into some good detail and has some big pics to:

I love the SiR bumpers with the moldings. You'd have to keep all the moldings, including the side moldings black though or else it's pointless.

Also, if you're on a budget, the SiR swap is going to be a lot more expensive seeing as you'd need a front and rear bumper.

So, if you're on a budget, go with the 99-00 front end.

My favorite is 96-98 with JDM type R lip. But second choice would deff be the 99-00, cheaper then the sir, looks nice, nice placement for foglights.

Go for it.
I did, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thats what i would do, before I bought anything from an online store i would go for junkyards, then craigslist/ebay then if no luck at any of those go for an online store.
