Hey guys,

I have an 04 civic ex and I am trying to buy a body kit for it. I am looking to spend around $500 shipped. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to buy a kit? I have seen advertisements for kits that are made of different types of material too...Any thoughts of what kind of material is the best to buy?

The ones you'll find in that price range are typically made from fiberglass. But, be warned - you tend to get what you pay for.

There are a lot of cheap kits out there that are poorly constructed and designed, so if you go cheap, you're likely to spend a lot to have someone else take care of the fit and finish. If you buy a higher-end kit, it'll still require some attention to fitment (not nearly as much as a cheap one), but will be much better quality and less likely to crack over time.

Got one in mind? The over-the-top kits aren't in style anymore (fortunately), but a very mild one might look okay.

 

o please god don't put a body kit on your 7th gen that look died years ago and for good reason. just get a lip kit and side skirts your car will look so much cleaner.plus polyurithane lips can be bought for 50 bucks for the front 150 for sides and rear.
