guys, let's get a thread going that will answer everyone's questions about tinting


let's get pictures of tints from 5% (limo) to 80-90% tint if possible,

show us your car and tell us what % tint it has and possible a day and a night picture

my car has 100% tint, i'll be uploading picture very shortly

EDIT: Dont try to tint your car yourself, you'll end up wasting TIME + MONEY, let the professionals do it and they give you like lifetime guarantee, so if anything happens to your tint they fix it for free

you are aware that 100% is completely transparent...and there for is pointless to have right? i have 20% but no pix cuz i switched to some weired *** operating system that wont work with anything windows...[:@] its called ubuntu or something...its super safe..but is a real inconvenience.

for pix....hit up my myspace.....its in my sig...i have plenty of pix with my tint and stuff.

^^hahah why u running Linux (ubuntu) its just a GUI for a command based operating system.. safe but kinda hard to get around if u dont know what ur doing.

O and i got 35% ..tints in the sig

ya .. fronts sides and back. and its a very cleeean cut along the edge .. the place i went to did a good job.. no bubbles that i could find

Same reason you tint your other windows.

But it's also illegal in most states I think.

 

mostly for looks, but it also kinda eliminates the UV rays that can damage ur dash. It also can help with the glare from the sun. Ive also heard it keeps ur car cooler = less AC= less gas used = happy!
