I've got some nice pics of tinted honda's, unfortunately not on this computer though. I deal with tint for a living, as a wholesale dealer of films, and also run an installation shop in Wisconsin. Most customers who come in for an installation end up getting 20% all around or 35% on the fronts and 20 on the rest. I'll try to come back soon on the other computer and show ya guys the pics.

My GN has 5% on quarters and rear and 8% on doors. My truck pics have the legal limit in Connecticut on the side windowswhich is 35% if I recall. Tinting as mentioned accomplishes many tasks, most of which have been mentioned. However, lets not forget THE BIGGEST reason is privacy/anonymity. It's totally different riding around with no tint vs tint. At night, no one knows whether the wannabee racer who just cut off a line of traffic is a REAL badass , ax-murdering looking dude, or some snot-nosed 11 grader showing off for his buds! The stealth aspect is powerful. I feel it myself when driving the GN compared to my wifes Forester with no tint and IAM an ax-murdering, Mafia-looking, old coot, Badass!!

5% rear, 100% (stock) in the front cuz any front is illegal up here

 

i might go with 5% rear and 50% side windows, it's illegal to have tint in illinois but long as cops can see you i shouldnt get tickets
