alumnium wing...wtf
I all actuality... yes, they slow you down. Unless maybe you put it on upside down. The purpose of "wings" or spoilers is to create downward force (also incorrectly referred to "downforce") to give better traction at high speeds. It's basically an inverted airplane wing. The kicker is though that your car is front wheel drive, so unless you have it on the hood, it is utterly useless. And furthermore, you can not generate the kind of speed, or perform any of the driving to make a spoiler necessary, so all it is doing is pressing down on your rear tires effectively adding weight to your car.
