well sadly enough not many people know where they came from. The idea was borrowed from the newer BMW 5 series. BMW calls them angel eyes because they have halos in the headlights. One designer described the lights as "angelic" hince 'Angel Eyes'. But im not going to argue with you, because im not sure where the term originates or derrives from outside of BMW.

Thats why we call them angel eyes. But I see where you are coming from though.

actually mate projector headlights and angel eyes are completely different and if i could be asked to get pictures i would.........but i cant

Wow! These things look huge!!! But I brought one out to my car and it actually looks like its ok. They are bigger than I thought they were going to be and have much more depth! This is like christmas for me, I can barley contain my self... by far this is the most exciting mod I have ordered. Here is the pic, you can see the size from my costa del mar shades.

I prefer with the white lens on top... BUT if you want mine you are more than welcome to have them.... say $40 shipped? Not a bad uppgrade to 2000 tails
