don't mean to steal this thread but what exactly is the purpose of "winter wheels"? you guys keep mentioning them here so just thought i asked. as for the wheel....i like 'em.

you put winter tires on them

performance tires on nice wheels for the summer

winter tires on crap wheels for the winter

 

to nice to be winter wheels...i like those wheels alot. and i put the steelies on for a couple reasons. better tires for wet/snow traction on them. if for some reason i get on some ice or w/e and slide off the road or into a curb, ill mess up the steelies and not my good wheels(steelies= cheaper to replace).

 

I don't realy like them, too flat of a design 4 me.
