Arches

Default Arches

I have got a 92 civic hatch, i got a pair of 17's on but the rub the arches? ne1 no a cheaper way than gettin dem rolled?

If it rubbing lightly, use a rubber mallet and tap the lip. If your getting a lot of rubbing, get it rolled...

use a baseball bat... cover the end with a towel and slide it between the wheel and fender. Then put a little weight on the other end of the bat and run it along the fender. That will make it "flare out" a little bit. The more weight the more it will flare out. Dont do it too hard though.

Its actually really easy to roll the arches on a civic (the 1992 -1995 model at least). I got a bodyshop to do mine for me and he charged me £20 for the pair. Thats properly rolled as well not having the lip cut off. Whatever you do dont have someone cut the lip off as you will loose all the strength from the rear quater panel and it will dent like tin foil! [&:]
