Default Auto Tint Question

I have a 2003 Honda Civic 4-Door Sedan and is seeking to have the car tinted. I was thinking Quantum - the lightest on the driver and passenger side and then darkest in the two back and rear window. Is paying $160 reasonable?

Thing is... one of my cousin who referred me to California Tint (in Rosemead, CA) had his car the same stuff I mentioned above except he has a 2004 Honda Accord also 4 door. He's got a bigger car than I do... yet he paid $10 less.

So I'm wondering... $160 a good price?

Thanks in advance.

$160's average, but I would tell them that I only had $130 and see what happens...

polo708, what's not great? The tint shade or the cost?

Also... this question is for anybody... Is Quantum the best out there or what? Gimme some feedbacks... recommendation... and if you live in the San Gabriel Valley - let me know where to get tinted windows for cheap.

Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of Quantum, but what you could do is call around and get quotes, then ask if Quantum is any good. Don't tell them you've checked other places, that way they wont just agree with whatever you've already heard.

I live in Northern Cali.....i'm not sure how far that is from San Gabriel...but there are a bunch of places out here..

sorry about that... I meant the price. You should be able to find it a little cheaper, but remember, you get what you pay for. There is nothing worse than seeing tint that is all bubbled up. Make sure its dont right, most places will give you a warranty for a certain amount of years too

Not only that this shop was recommended by my friend, but I did a search on the Internet - couple of racers recommend this shop as well. The good thing about this place is, they give lifetime guarantee that their tint won't bubble - and they fix it at no charge. Anyway... I'll just have to go to the shop and start the bargain.

aiight... so how about this?

Anyone who's car is tinted - tell me what you've got. I know I heard about titanium or whatever it may be... what's good out there?

I don't know much about tint and stuff but I just wanna know what everyone else has. Maybe that'll give me something to think about.

titanium wont turn purple like some tint jobs you see out there. As long as you have a guarantee that it wont do that or bubble, then you cant go wrong.
